Snapchat has officially rolled out its long-awaited Creator Subscriptions feature, giving creators a brand new way to monetize their audience directly on the platform.
Starting February 23, 2026, eligible creators in the United States can now offer paid monthly subscriptions to their followers, unlocking exclusive content and perks in exchange for a recurring fee.

What’s Included?
Subscribers gain access to exclusive Snaps and Stories, priority replies from creators, and an ad-free viewing experience making it a compelling offer for dedicated fans. Subscription prices range from $4.99 to $19.99 per month, giving creators the flexibility to set a price that reflects their content’s value.
How Much Do Creators Earn?
Creators keep approximately 60% of subscription revenue, with Snapchat taking the remaining share. For creators with an engaged and loyal audience, this could translate into a meaningful and predictable monthly income something ad revenue alone rarely provides.
Availability
The feature is currently live for select US-based creators on iOS, with Android support and an international rollout including Canada, the UK, and France expected in the coming weeks.
The Bigger Picture
With nearly 946 million monthly active users and Snapchat’s Spotlight feature seeing a 47% year-over-year jump in engagement, the platform is making a clear push to become a serious destination for the creator economy. This puts Snapchat in direct competition with Instagram Subscriptions, YouTube Memberships, and Patreon.
For creators already building communities on Snap, this is a major opportunity worth watching closely.
